Our Adult Counsellors, John, Alex, Theresa, Jennifer, Sara, and Laura provide short-term individual and group counseling for issues such as:

• Depression
• Anxiety and fears
• Bereavement issues

• Couple/family concerns
• Poor self-esteem or lack of confidence
• Anger issues
• Stress management
• Abuse self/others
• Sexual concerns
• Loneliness
• Pre and post partum mood changes




After Baby Group


For moms experiencing mood changes after the birth of their new baby. The group will provide moms a time to talk together, feel less alone, and share ideas about how to feel better.


Feel Good Group (CBT)


Teaches skills aimed to improve motivation, change thinking, relaxation, self-care and staying well.


Finding Pathways Through Grief


Grief is meant to be shared. Finding Pathways Through Grief is a mutual help support group that will help you navigate the difficulties of this new experience. Each week, we will discuss the issues and concerns common to newly bereaved people.


Hold Me Tight


Hold Me Tight is a relationship enrichment and education program that helps couples strengthen their emotional connection. It teaches partners to become more empathic, trusting, and open with each other and to more easily handle day-to-day stress and problems.




Mindfulness is a form of meditation that involves paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally. In this group you will learn how to control your mind rather than letting your mind control you. Mindfulness is effective for people suffering with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, insomnia, high blood pressure, cancer, etc.


Taking Control of Your Life


Do you have problems with some relationships?
Do you feel like at times you are on an emotional rollercoaster?
Do you struggle to control certain impulsive behaviors?
Do you feel at times like you do not know who you are?
This program will help you will learn about Mindfulness, Interpersonal skills, how to Regulate Emotions and how to use Distress Tolerance skills.



Worry Trap


Teaches about anxiety and worry and how to approach it differently. Stop letting worry control your life and learn effective strategies.
